Las Vegas (KSNV) — Jaylen S., a high school sophomore and volleyball player from Las Vegas, has been named one of 22 finalists in Cox Mobile’s nationwide phone case design competition.
Jaylen, a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada Southern Highlands Club, is now in the running for a $25,000 scholarship.
Jaylen has been involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs for most of his life, initially joining in Phoenix before moving to Las Vegas in 2022.
As a finalist, he received a tech package from Cox valued at over $500.

The grand prize-winning design will be manufactured by OtterBox, Cox Mobile’s exclusive phone case partner, and sold online and in Cox retail stores.
Proceeds from the sales will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Additionally, the Boys & Girls Club of the grand prize winner will receive a $25,000 Cox Innovation Lab grant to enhance local members’ access to technology and tools for success.
